Job Summary:
We are looking for an upbeat, energetic, and positive individual to join our team!
A minimum of two years customer service required, and coffee experience preferred. Must be able to work weekends.

Barista will be responsible for and work with other team members to:

Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked environment.
-
Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
-
Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.

Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
-
Packaging food and beverages for sale.

Learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality.

Update signage and displays to attract customers.

Take inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.

Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.

Qualifications:
-
This position will require frequent standing and use of hands and arms.
-
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist.
-
Frequently required to use hand and finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms.
-
Must be able to adjust vision to both day and night lighting, and be able to focus on distant and close-range projects. Regularly required to handle food, hot beverages, and work with sharp objects.

Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
